The editor explains this songbook this way: "This book started as a collection of songs about the Earth; then it spread its wings and grew into songs of worship… All religions and brands of spirituality use music in their rituals, and it seemed to me if we became more familiar with each other's music which expresses love for the Earth and each other, then we might grow to love each other and stop killing ourselves and the planet. I believe that the Greater Being we all worship is the same One, with different names."
