This book contains an excellent concise account of the 1981 prison hunger strike in the North of Ireland. Is is a very accessible book for students and others wishing to acquire information on and an understanding of that historic event in recent Irish History. It also gives an incredible insight into the important role played by the families of the men on hunger strike particularly the parents of Kevin Lynch.
