This work reads much like a novel, so it's possible that it is more fiction than fact. Nonetheless it's an interesting and entertaining read, covering the entirety of Tom Horn's short life.

The book has no footnotes or endnotes, but the author cites numerous individuals and documents as sources for his work. It also includes a bibliography and a helpful index.

I suggest readers would benefit from this book, if they are interested in learning more than stark facts about Tom Horn. I definitely am glad to have read it and have it in my small library.
