Апокалипсис вернулся к нам спустя долгие 5 лет ожидания. 28 недель спустя, поделенный на секторы Лондон, частично очищен от инфекции, власти пытаются организовать безопасный комфортный быт спасенных 15000 человек, собрав их в одном охраняемом районе.Но есть одно «но» — в карантинную зону доставлена семья, имеющая врожденные предпосылки к иммунитету вируса «бешенства», одновременно являющиеся ее переносчиками. Банальная семейная драма стала той роковой ошибкой, повлекшей очередной Армагеддон. Вирус попадает в закрытое пространство, переполненное паникующей толпой.
