This is such a fun book with cut-out fish. There is up-side-down text with written numbers on the top and numbers with a few repetitive words on the bottom. My grandsons both read it together facing one-another one reading the top and the other reading the bottom. A really great book for young children to learn to read and to count. ( )

This book is SO cool! Tasha of Kid Lit recommended it and wow. Each page is cut out and you count from one to ten fish and then you turn it over and count from ten to one and then you can turn it over and...I think as a parent it might get old, but as a children's librarian, WOW! It's more of a sit with one child book, though, the pages are too small to really share the detail of the pictures with a larger group. Max and I read it and loved it. ( )
