Ben's mother is mentally ill, and since his father left he's the one who has to take care of her. When he meets Marco at the mental hospital, he thinks he's finally found someone he can talk to about it, since Marco's mom is in the same boat. But the more he talks to Marco, the weirder things get. Marco claims to have traveled to the future, where there are lizard people, to search for a cure for mental illness. Is this real, or all just in Ben's head? ( )

This is a quick read that helps the reader to have a basic understanding of a mind plagued with mental illness. I enjoyed this book much more than Price's first book, The Dead Connection. I especially like the twist at the end of the book. ( )
