It tells the children about all different kinds of foods and the places they come from. Farms. It also talks about the animals and the process they go threw to give us meat. I liked this book it seemed easy for the children to understand. It gave them a lot of very good real life information. I would use this in a classroom to talk about food. You could use it on a lesson on food groups. This is an informational book about different kinds of foods and the different farms they come from. There are several bright pictures that illustrates the different foods. The words in this book are made to where young readers can understand the information given. I really was not excited about this book. For one, I am not into informational books and also it talked about slaughtering animals. I know that the process has to be done, but I am not sure how that young of a child would react to it. In the classroom, I could use this book to talk about the different kinds of farms and all the foods that come from them. I could have a pre-made worksheet that asks which foods come from the farm. Also, I remember growing a plant and I think my class could do that after reading this book. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
