First of all, I was not a fan of the illustrations. The cover is hard to miss. It has a bright yellow background with a pink pig wearing a blue hat. It is very colorful. However, the pictures on the inside of the book are all black and white. It almost looks like a coloring book. I feel that this took away from the excitement of the story. One thing I did like about this book was the writing style. This is a good book for first and second graders who are learning to read because it has easier words and a lot of repetition. On several pages, Iggy Pig sings "We're going to the sea! We're going to the sea! Lots of sun and lots of sand! That's the place for me!" Once the reader gets used to this phrase, they will recognize it and be able to read it on the other pages in the book. I think the big idea of this book is that everything is not always what it seems. Iggy Pig and his mother are happily traveling to the beach throughout their book. They had no idea that a wolf who wanted to eat them was following them the whole way. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
Iggy sets off for the seaside with his mother. He can't wait to get there and play in the sand but someone else wants to come too, somebody with a rumbling tummy. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
