I enjoyed the word play used in the narration of this book. I think readers will be delighted to read this story book. The story takes place at a circus which will gain younger readers' interests because of the inclusion of animals. This book is a great tool to use to introduce young readers to story problems. Full of whimsical illustrations and caricatures of animals in silly acts, young readers will be entertained as they embark on learning computational math. ( )

Several farm animals balance and dance to illustrate number facts. The setting is set up in a whimsical circus. While reading the story, my students would have to count out and do the math fact out loud. After reading, they can draw out math facts. For example, ten monkeys jumping on the bed. 2 fall off, and 8 are left. This makes math fun by adding art to it. ( )
