I had mixed feeling about this book. I liked this book because the illustrations were very engaging. For example, the book is a pop up book so the reader can interact with the pages while reading it. I didn't like the book because it didn't really push readers to think about ought issues. The book is about Clark the shark who doesn't have any teeth and is made fun of. But when mermaids help make him gold sharp teeth he goes to show off to the other sharks. I don't think that this is a valuable lesson to learn. A message a reader could take from the story is that you should treat others the way you want to be treated even if they are different. ( )
