This one was entertaining, but it did take me awhile to get into it.

Holy Hot French Guy, Batman! Savannah Scott does it again! A Not So Fictional Fall’s a brilliant marriage of convenience romcom. It’s also a fun, enjoyable tribute to all the bookstagrammers and booklovers out there. I mean what single bookworm wouldn’t dream of falling in love with a handsome romance writer? And did I mention he’s FRENCH?! Très magnifique! It’s the sixth book in the amazing Sweater Weather series and while each book is meant to be read as a standalone, they all take place in the darling, small town of Harvest Hollow in the Fall.

Famous romance writer Amelie De Pierre is ready to reveal a shocking secret. She is actually a he. Pierre Toussaint is the handsome writer behind the nom de plume. When he reveals his identity at a book signing, number one fan and bookstagrammer Tasha Pierson is floored. The gorgeous guy giving off professor vibes is Amelie De Pierre. And he’s French! That accent! It’s enough to make a girl lose her books, which she does. Luckily Pierre’s there to help her out, and what follows is a delightful, funny romance.

To stay in the country and finish his book tour, he needs a wife and Tasha is the only viable candidate. Tasha agrees, but there’re ground rules. Will their marriage of convenience withstand the molten attraction between them?

I love Pierre & Tasha! I loved Tasha’s exclamations (“Oh, sweet baguette with a chunk of gourmet cheese, this man is French.”) and Pierre’s twist on American slang (“wet chicken”). He’s adorably serious, but so romantic and sweet too. Tasha matches him heart and soul. I love that she’s a bookstagrammer and narrator, so we get all these fun book insider references. Fans of the Sweater Weather & Love Trippin series will recognize familiar characters and nods. I loved Pierre’s friend Rene, his sisters, and Tasha’s sister Heather. They definitely need their own books. The bed scene had me cry laughing! The ending will have you swooning! *sigh* So many romantic, funny moments all kept firmly sweet and closed door.
