He then moved to the United States and lives in New York - close to the Statue of Liberty.
We now know that Poland is (once again) a frontier country. To its east lies unfree and authoritarian Russia. From that perspective, the freedom and prosperity we enjoy in the West become are thrown into stark relief - because something very different lies so close by. From my experience in Israel - another frontier country, it is often people from those sorts of places who have a truly visceral and instinctive understanding of what it means to be free and prosperous and also how precious and fragile it is.
Bogumi's book is infused with insights as to what it is that creates and protects true wealth in our lives. And he's dedicated himself to building up an ecosystem around him which is dedicated to that goal.
It's worth reading.
That's why I own a copy, and have ordered copies for friends and associates.
He's part of my ecosystem.
