I bought this book after hearing Dr. Robinson speak, because he is one of the few people left that is passionate about real Evangelism. Not just the "let's make friends with this guy and maybe ten years later we'll mention Jesus to him" evanglism, but really talking to people, everyone, about Christ.

His passion in the book is evident, and his ideas very good. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Evangelism. Unfortunately, it's not a book that you can give to someone who is NOT interested in Evangelism. It's not the sort of book that will convince them and give them courage.

The value of the book is to give ideas and techniques to talk to people. Not to manipulate them, of course, but to give you some direction. The biggest thing stopping people from Evangelizing is fear. A lot of times, they just don't know what to say. This book will give you some ideas. I found great value in that.

The bottom line is this. If someone comes to me and is interested in Evanglism, I will give him this book. Other people, I'm going to find something else. ( )
