Subterranean Pole Hunt
Since he hasn't been able to find the North Pole anywhere above ground, Pooh enlists Roo to accompany him on a spelunking expedition. (Kanga is of course cool with her child spending days underground so long as he brushes his teeth.) Things get a little creepy and weird when out of nowhere they encounter:
The Thistle Invasion
Everyone's getting hurt because someone is littering thistle prickles all over the Hundred-Acre Wood. Hmm. Who do we know that is into thistles?
A New Day Dawns
Pooh declares a day of good deeds for his neighbors, but then the law of unintended consequences kicks in and slapstick ensures. Meh.
Swamp Dragon
Piglet and Rabbit return from a boat ride through the Hundred-Acre Wood's swamp panicked because they believe a dragon now lives there. Pooh and Tigger investigate and encounter
The Giant Grrak
Something is leaving giant bird tracks around the Hundred-Acre Wood. Tigger is so scared his stripes have faded away -- what the -- ?!?! Of course, Pooh is the only one brave enough to investigate, and for the third time in the very same comic, the scary thing everyone is getting worked up over turns out to be not so scary after all. Tedious.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
