I didn’t read the first book, yet I was never lost and plan on going back because the characters were amazing. Brayden is this big man on campus that can get any girl he wants but he is finding that this tedious game of jersey chasers is not what he wants. He is cocky, arrogant, but what others don’t see is his down to earth softer side. Brayden lives to rile Sydney up and finds it very entertaining, yet it just annoys her. Sydney was a tough character because at first, she was so judgmental of Brayden and mean that it annoyed me. She would call him a playboy, throw his trysts in his face, but she had no room to talk when she was bouncing from one bad relationship to another, so it made it hard to like her. Later, Brayden has a stalker needs help fighting her away, so he enlists Sydney in his lies. They fight, they banter, their attraction is too strong to fight. The more I read the more I found myself starting to like Sydney as she lowered her walls and started seeing that there was way more to Brayden than she presumed. Once they think they are on the path to true happiness things throw a wrench in everyone’s way. I loved this story and even though at first Sydney wasn’t my favorite I did end up liking her and understanding where her anger came from. Will fate intervene and help these two find their paths or are they doomed to be enemies forever? It started out funny, frustrating, back to funny, then ended emotional and I felt it all. Great read and can’t wait for more. ( ) nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic comes a sexy, new standalone novel. Brayden Kendricks might be Godâ??s gift to the female species at Western University, but I want nothing to do with the dark-haired football player. The guy is an attention seeking you-know-what who soaks up fan adoration like itâ??s his due in life for being hot and talented. Damn. Did I just say that? All right, fine...Iâ??ll grudgingly admit that Brayden is decent looking. I suppose if youâ??re into guys who resemble Greek gods with abs of steel and chiseled pecs, then sure, one could consider him attractive. Am I guilty of having a tiny, practically non-existent crush on him freshman year? Iâ??d prefer not to answer that question. Thankfully, I quickly came to my senses and have made a concerted effort to steer clear of Brayden ever since. It hasnâ??t been easy, considering that my bestie is now dating his roommate and weâ??ve been thrown together for an accounting project. Youâ??d think after years of baring my teeth at him like a rabid dog, the guy would have gotten the memo that Iâ??m not interested. Apparently not, since heâ??s spreading word around campus that weâ??re going out. I mean, can you even imagine? Me? Dating Brayden Kendricks? I have four wo Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
