Carole volunteers to shadow a local mixed-practice (but mostly equine) vet over her winter break. Everyone is concerned with finding each other the perfect gift for Christmas.

This one is my favorite Saddle Club book ever. I admired Carole while I was growing up and was so happy for her and Starlight. (
