How did one beg forgiveness for ending a man's life? Could Sarah Beiler forgive him after he'd taken away the man she loved?'

Are there some mistakes and actions that can't be forgiven? Author Lacy Williams shares an intriguing story that shows two differing views of a tragic accident and its consequences. Will there be grief that is overwhelming, never forgotten, and allowed to fester into bitterness, or can that grief be experienced and then channeled into something positive?

This is a touching story of making mistakes, seeking forgiveness, and being given a chance to start over. Williams reminds us that we are to forgive, as we are forgiven, and we are to help, and not hinder, those who have made mistakes. The Amish Outcast's Holiday Return is filled with sweet romance, family drama, and a strong faith element, including many heartwarming moments that reflect upon the miraculous story of Christmas. There are also some surprises that kept me turning the pages and longing for more! I recommend this book to all who enjoy Amish fiction and holiday-themed stories.

I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher via Celebrate Lit. There was no obligation for a review. These are my own thoughts. ( )

As a teenager, Zach Miller made some poor choices that cost Grace Beiler’s sister’s fiance his life. Now Zach returns to apologize but finds so much more. Her father offers him a job and a place to live. But Grace’s sister refuses to believe he has changed. Returning to the Amish faith of his parents, Zach discovers faith, love, and forgiveness. Grace desires more than friendship with Zach. But for that to happen, Sarah must come to terms with the fact Zach changed.

The holidays provide the perfect time for new beginnings and hope for the future. So if you enjoy Amish romance stories or Christmas stories, check out this book for yourself. My only desire for this story would be for Sarah to get her own story, which includes a continuation of Zach and Grace’s story. I also enjoyed getting to know Grace’s cousin Amos and reading about his interactions with Grace and Zach. So check out this book for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. ( )

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Author Lacy Williams writes a heartwarming Holiday read in The Amish Outcast’s Holiday Return. I admire Zach for coming back to Lacy’s family farm to seek forgiveness in a wrong he had done. I think this shows his true character and I really like and appreciate him a lot. Being the sweet caring person she is, Grace wouldn’t hold anything against Zach and would offer her forgiveness, just as her dad did.

I enjoyed this cast of characters and the way the author writes them to be so realistic, growing them as the story unfolds. I feel this is such a great story for this time of year, going into the Holiday season because it shows love, grace and forgiveness as people often do, more so than any other time of year. After all Jesus is the real reason for the season of Christmas and we should strive to show more of His love for everyone. This is a fabulous book to read in the mist of all of the Christmas rush!

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255. ( )

The Amish Outcast’s Holiday Return by Lacy Williams is a contemporary Amish Romance. It is a standalone Love Inspired Inspirational Romance. It features Grace Beiler, a young Amish woman and Zach Miller, a man convicted of manslaughter.

What you might need to know:
Zach’s parents were killed in a buggy accident when he was ten, he was then taken by his non Amish uncle. As a teen Zach kills an Amish man when he is drinking and driving.

What I think about this book:
This was a very unique concept for an Amish book. Zach spent his childhood in the Amish community, but is ripped out of it and everything he knows when his parents are killed. When a series of bad choices put Zach in prison he starts to seek the faith of his childhood. Grace is asked to put forgiveness into practice when he comes to seek forgiveness for killing her sister’s fiancé. This was such a good book about God’s Grace and Forgiveness and how it is hard for us as humans to grant the same type of forgiveness. Zach was such a heartbreaking character, that I didn’t think I would like, but he quickly captured my attention. Grace was a really neat character and I enjoyed how she grew African Violets. I loved this story and the characters. I would love to read more books based in the community to get more of their story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. ( )

This is a sweet Amish romance that talks about forgiveness and redemption. Can a man who committed a bad act change and become a better person. I really liked Zach and Grace. Can Zach redeem himself and become a better man. There are ups and downs but I like how the author handles all of the problems. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )
