I really enjoy Bunny and his big heart and drive to protect. His unorthodox methods make it terribly easy for him to acquire both enemies, and a slew of very loyal friends. I didn't feel all that strongly about the main mystery, but it wasn't bad. And the writing was otherwise quite clever and humorous. (

I see I listened to most of this in May, but I had to start from the beginning. In fact, I may rewind and listen once more to firm up the plot and characters. Good complex story and characters both. (

A sequel to the prequel, I believe this would be the second book in the chronological reading order of the Dublin "trilogy." Whenever, and however you read them, they are delightful. (

Another great book from the Bunny McGarry stable. Here Bunny is 'resting' from the Garda but problems and violence seek him out. Someone is trying to frame him for murder whilst he successfully sorts out a wife and child beating thug of a husband. Bunny's old, now deceased, partner who was embroiled in some dodgy dealings also comes back to haunt him. I loved the story, the humour and the character of Bunny and I wait eagerly for the next book. (
