Declan kidnaps Sloan because she's the best friend of the head of the Russian bratva's girlfriend (see previous books in the series). She hasn't taken the kidnapping well (understatement) but he's the head of the Irish mafia. There's lots of banter and the two are a great couple. It's a well-written and interesting story. ( )

Slow isn't exactly the way I would put it but wordy is more like it. Just a bit too much description in some areas. I had to skim a bit. ( )

This book was amazing!
I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a very good job. The banter and the sarcasm was so good. ( )

I loved it. Not quite as good as Bk#1 but damn close.

Had me laughing my ass off with the snark. The steam was Grade A fantastic. Erotic and Steamy.

The Action/Suspense could have been a bit More. After all, this is Mafia/Organized Crime and plenty of things happening. So more showing of the action with that would have been great.

There were typos scattered throughout the story. Mostly misplaced words. There is an example in my kindle notes.

I loved this one and can't wait for the third book which is Expected to be published in October. I already have it marked.
