When the emperor hears of his skill, the emperor orders him to paint a series of four dragons. The dragons are so lifelike that people are in awe, yet they notice that the dragons have no eyes. The man explains that because of the magical nature of dragons, if the eyes are painted they would come to life. The emperor orders him to paint the eyes anyway. Of course, they come to life, but once again the man saves the day by painting chains on them. This book is a nice little story which provides a glimpse of Japanese culture and a fun take on dragon myth. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
