El libro de las virtudes constructivas es el cuarto y último volumen de la mundialmente famosa obra maestra del imán Gazzali Ihya Ulum-id-Din o el renacimiento de los aprendizajes religiosos. Este trabajo es un intento de traducir la cuarta parte del Ihya no muy literalmente sino en esencia del original escrito en árabe. Consiste en dos partes. La Parte II trata sobre el amor y el apego, la voluntad y la intención, la mediación y el autoexamen, reflexionando sobre el bien, la muerte y los eventos posteriores, la muerte del Profeta y nuestros califas y eventos antes y después de la Resurrección y el Paraíso y el Infierno. Se evita una traducción literal para omitir los argumentos innecesarios de las sectas y subsecciones que prevalecen en el mundo y también para omitir los dichos de los sabios de menor importancia. Pero se debe tener en cuenta que en esta traducción no se ha omitido ningún verso del Sagrado Corán o el Hadis del Santo Profeta. -
The book of Constructive Virtues is the fourth and the last volume of Imam Gazzali´s world renowned master piece Ihya Ulum-id-Din or the Revival of religious learnings. This work is an attempt to translate the fourth part of the Ihya not too literally but in substance from the original written in Arabic. It consisus of two parts. Part II deals with love and attachment, will and intention, mediation and self examination, pondering over good, death and subsequent events, death of the Prophet and our caliphs and events before and after Resurrection and Paradise and Hell. A litteral translation is avoided in order to omit the unnecesary arguments of sects and sub-sects then prevailing in the world and also to omit the sayings of the sages of less importance. But is should be noted that no verse of the Holy Quran or the Hadis of the Holy Prophet has been ommitted in this translation.

The Book of Destructive Evils is the third book of Imam Gazzali's world renowned master piece Ihya Ulum-id-Din or the Revival of Religious learning. This work is an attempt to translate the third part of the Ihya not too literally but in substance. This book deals with soul and its attributes, conduct, greed and passion, benefits and harms of tongue, anger and envy, attachment for the world, love for wealth and harms of miserliness, power, show, pride and erroneous beliefs.

Viaje, música, disfrutando del bien y prohibiendo el mal, el carácter y la conducta del Santo Profeta. -
The Book of worldly usages is the second book of Imam Gazzali's world renowned master piece Ihya Ulum-id-Din or the Revival of religious learning. This work is an attempt to translate the second part of the Ihya not too literally but in substance from the original written in Arabic. The book II deals with the worldly usages, etiquettes, manners, rules and regulations concerning eating and drinking, marriage, earnings and trade, lawful and unlawful earnings, duties towards Muslims, neighbours, servants and slaves, harms and benefits of seclusion and society, journey, music, enjoining good and forbidding evil and character and conduct of the Holy Prophet.

Ulum-ud-Din. Se trata de la adoración y el servicio divino. Imam Abu-Hamid al-Ghazzali es sin duda el mejor teólogo del Islam y uno de sus pensadores más nobles y originales. Nació en 1058 A.D. en Tu s, donde murió en 1111. Reprodujó en su experiencia religiosa todas las fases espirituales desarrolladas por el Islam. Comenzando su vida religiosa como ortodoxa, Al-Ghazzali pronto se convirtió en sufi, y cuando todavía tenía menos de veinte años había roto con todo el pasado. En 1091 fue nombrado profesor en la Nizamiyah en Bagdad, donde se convirtió en un escéptico. Cuatro años más tarde, regresó al sufismo después de una terrible lucha espiritual que lo dejó en un desastre físico. El intelectualismo le había fallado. Como derviche, vagaba de un lugar a otro disfrutando de la paz del alma y la aquiescencia de la mente. Después de aproximadamente doce años de retiro en varios lugares, incluidos dos años de retiro en Siria y una santa peregrinación, regresó a Bagdad para predicar y enseñar. The book is the English version of Imam Ghazzali's Ihya Ulum-ud-Din. It deals with worship and divine service. Imam Abu-Hamid al-Ghazzali is unquestionably the greatest theologian of Islam and one of its noblest and most original thinkers. He was born in 1058 A.D. at Tu s, where he died in 1111. He reproduced in his religious experience all the spiritual phases developed by Islam. Starting his relgious life as orthodox, Al-Ghazzali soon turned Sufi, and when still under twenty he had broken with all the past. In 1091 he was appointed lecturer at the Nizamiyah in Baghdad, where he became a sceptic. Four year later he returned to Sufism after a terrific spiritual struggle that left him a physical wreck. Intellectualism had failed him. As a dervish he roamed from place to place enjoying peace of soul and acquiescence of mind. After about twelve years of retirement in various places, including two years of retreat in Syria and a holy pilgrimage, he returned to Baghdad to preach and teach. There he composed his masterpiece lyha Ulutn-id-Din (the revivification of the sciences of religion). The mysticism of this work vitalized the law its orthodoxy leavened the doctrine of Islam. In it and such other works of his as Fatihal-al-Ulutn, Tahafut of Falasifah, Iqtisad fi-al-Itiqad, orthodox speculation reached its culminating point.
