It's got an odd format. The "house" is telling the MC stuff she should already know. "You stand in the kitchen, holding the steel in your right hand. A finger slides down the sharp edge, testing its strength as you do calculations in your head. The slow creep of a smile indicates you are happy with your choice. Drawn away in visions to the future, everything is interrupted by a quick slip and slice as you drop the knife. We notice the dribble of blood, a bead welling at the tip, inviting a hungry mouth. You bring the cut to your lips and suck on it a moment and then examine the depth."

Also there are breaks in the visual story that are not indicated in the audio telling at all. I hate that, it causes problems for the listener. I should have pre-reviewed and dismissed it as a podcast due to the breaks.



The story is about a woman who is starting over, or on her own, and moves into the house. It is in need of renovations but no carpenter will even come to do a bid on work. There is a voice that narrates the story and by the end we have a full understanding of who owns that voice and why no one comes to the house. ( )
