As always, the character’s are well written and you get pulled into the story immediately. Imagine how hard it would be to go to your father’s cabin that you spent Christmas vacation in for the last time, just to spread his ashes as he desired. All along, for years her father was telling Maverick about Lucy, his daughter. showing pictures of her and telling stories. He knew they were meant to be with each other.
