Cleo loves bows. She has bows everywhere. This isn’t really a story about Cleo though. This is the story of the rabbit and the fox. The story of how to tie a bow. As a mother of a child who grew up with dyspraxia, I am thrilled to find such an easy-to-follow system for teaching young ones to tie a bow. The story masks the fact that they are learning. The book is filled with pages of art that will keep kids entranced. The colors, though at first overwhelmingly pink, are actually quite subtle drawing little eyes to exquisite details and drawing them into rabbit’s story.

I imagine this book is a shoo-in for girls, but there are boys who will enjoy it as well. While it is written towards preschool-age kids, older kids who find themselves still struggling with bow tying, will not find the story too young.

Cleo Can Tie a Bow: A Rabbit and a Fox Story by Sybrina Durant is a cute little story about a little girl who loves bows so much she has them everywhere. You will find them in her hair, on her shoes, in her room on her bed and on her curtains. Everywhere she goes and everywhere she is there are bows. Pink bows, so apparently she loves pink too because there is also a lot of pink in her book, which is fine with me because I love pink as well. And the fox and the bunny were so cute, and what a clever idea to have the focus Tie the rabbits ears at the same time Cleo tied her bow to teach children how to tie a bow for themselves. The fox and the deer are adorable as well as the deer they invited along. These are among the amazingly creative illustrations created by illustrator Pumudi Gardiyawasam. I just love how Gardiyawasam brings the story to life by creating the perfect picture for each page, with unique and fabulous characters and the vibrant and beautiful colors throughout the book. I can see little girls loving this book, so my copy is going to my sweet and beautiful grandaughter. Cleo Can Tie a Bow is a wonderful, colorful book inside and out and would be the perfect addition to any daycare, preschool or kindergarten classroom, as well as any elementary school library. I can also see this book in dentist and Drs. offices. If books are allowed. Go out and get this book for your child. You will be happy you did.

Cleo Can Tie A Bow: A Rabbit and Fox Story is a cute little story by Sybrina Durant. Little Cleo loves bows and it definitely shows. I like how the book tells a nice little tale while, also, teaching how to tie a bow simply and easily. It can be read over and over to young readers. Rabbit and Fox are so much fun, delightful and entertaining, they will not ever get bored reading this book on numerous occasions. I thought it was great.

I enjoyed the illustrations in Cleo Can Tie A Bow: A Rabbit and Fox Story. Pumudi Gardiyawasam did a great job brining Cleo’s story to life. The colors and pictures will easily hold a young one’s attention. I love that the illustrations show how to make a bow that will keep the children occupied for a while and, also, teaching them a necessary skill.

I am going to give Cleo Can Tie A Bow: A Rabbit and Fox Story four and a half stars. I recommend it for readers who are between the ages of four and seven years old. It would definitely be great to add to a children’s library. As well as, a great teaching tool for preschools and kindergarten classes. I donated my copy to the local elementary school’s library and they were excited to have it.

Very Young Girls will delight in this very colorful, picturesque fun book! It not only contains a fun "counting" opportunity, but it also instructs on how to tie a bow, plus has an additional tale about a bunny and a fox

This oversize book is beautifully illustrated by Pumudi Gardiyawasam. The illustrations are simple, well defined, and dazzling.

At the end of the story, it has the audio links one can purchase to go along with the story, ending with a cute song. The author's Blog Site has other equally instructional, winsome books, plus fun things to accompany them.

This a Pre-School/Early Elementary age reader I can highly recommend.

The illustrations in this book are absolutely adorable! The story is sweet, and I loved how the fox helped the bunny. The instructions were clear with matching illustrations, and can help tie a bow, or tie your sneakers! ( )
