Really, there was a WHOLE LOT OF LOVE going on here!
The "meet cute" of him (August...aka Grumpy Gus Gus...HA!) arriving in town to help his grandmother (Agatha...such a doll!) with her flower shop and landing on the doorstep of Mo (Moira...aka Sunshine!) expecting a dude, and getting...someone is who SO not a dude, was PRICELESS!
The BIG SECRET (or should I say secrets?) gave us a plot point to count on being revealed to the other party at some instance along their six month timeline...and I'm not just talking about selling the shop talk, or retirement, or the adult activities that these two may or may not get up to! No, it's bigger than that...with much higher stakes involved when their walls start tumbling down.
So, if you're in the mood for UBER WATT SPARKAGE, characters you won't want to let go, a few laughs, a dozen smiles, and an ending that feels just right...stop what you're doing to GRAB THIS BOOK!
