I loved this story. The writing is great....with lots of play with words and their meanings....in a fun, accessible way. And the character of Paul Thorne is so well done. Even though I'm female and haven't killed anyone, I can really identify with Paul because of the way the author developed the character, bringing to light the kinds of hopes and fears we all struggle with. I will definitely read more by this new-to-me Canadian author. ( )
