Meh. Silly title is the best thing about it. Too many different non-humans all with ridiculous abilities, the jewish golem was a fun touch, the others just generic vampires and werewolves.

A necromancer has decided humans need a good cull to get them back down to the numbers where they'll be properly fearful of their betters. SO he steals and coerces the best writer in the world (currently an unknown black girl) to write a truth so compelling and depressing that humanity will implode. A few monsters decide they quite like their human prey as they are, and attempt to spoil the plot without killing the girl.

Nominally about black empowerment it's just silly. ( )
