I'm not sure if my expectations were too high as I enjoyed book 1 but I found the pair of them irritating.
The heroine shows no sense about money and is a real brat.
The Hero shows no spine dealing with his ex.
I found some of it very predictable and the ending a bit corny.
The Hero is very hurtful to the heroine with no huge grovelling I felt at the end considering he accused her of lying and trying to trap him.
Even before that there is a scene where he meets her single friends and one of them explains about the heroines side of an argument they were having and he still behaves in a way to hurt the heroine in front of them all, flirting which he knows upsets her. This wasn't really addressed.
No cheating.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Ex drama. The Hero deals badly with his ex, nothing intimate but he is incredibly naive and needs a backbone.
The heroine has offers from other men but isn't interested.
I felt the ending was rushed, ages was spent at the first half and to me I would have preferred more grovelling.
