Cash & Kimberly's story. 12 year age difference as K is the older divorced woman that Cash (the muscle for his MC) falls for. Cash is a little immature and a lot violent. Throw in Kim's irritating neighbor/friend Jennifer and Kim's wishy-washy behavior and you have a disjointed book. Cash beats up two of his "brothers", Kim has been robbed of her trust fund money, and you learn a little bit about the other MC members: (Baker=President/Brains, Reno=explosives, Ghost=mechanic/getaway driver, Tito=alarms/hacker, Goose=cook/weapons, Cash=muscle) Meh....I'm interested to check out Goose's story. ( )

Ah....I can't even think of enough words to tell you how much I enjoyed this book.

Older woman/younger man.....and it's not a cougar kind of older woman. Just a divorced woman, making it on her own who just hasn't met a man who made her want to take a chance. Kimberly has a little money (but it comes at the price of losing her parents) and a shoe boutique but it's not her passion.

Cash is the muscle of the MC. He reacts first, thinks later....and that's not always a good thing. Going with your gut has advantages but there's always that one time.

It's not to say their road to HEA wasn't with out some rough times, a break up and devastating news for Kimberly. But when two people are friends in addition to lovers there is nothing to hold them back.

And FYI....Jennifer, Kimberly's neighbor and BFF is friggin' hilarious! She's a 52 yr old divorcee with the mind of a 17 yr old boy. I didn't know whether I wanted to choke her or just sit here and LMAO.

I wasn't sure how I was going to like Cash since he wasn't my favorite in the first book but I need not have been worried because he was perfect in this book. Just the right amount of humor, tension, and steamy times with a great epilogue. ( )
