Alderman James was invited to Wild Boar Hall, Waterford by Lord Stapleton, to investigate the killing of his servant, Thompson.
Meanwhile, back at Dublin, Dolocher-like killings start to surface even when the suspect-murderer Colonel Spencer was locked up in the asylum. Did Alderman James arrest the wrong person? Who was the actual killer?
European has cleverly spun more interesting characters, twists and suspense into this book #3, by far the most compelling of all three!
I highly recommend this Alderman James series to the fans of mystery/suspense thrillers. I truly enjoy reading them!
I would like to thank European P. Douglas for giving me the opportunity to read and review Hunting Down the Darkness. ( )
