However, Georgia love science, she is not an artist! She doesn't think that science and art go together. After getting in argument with her brother, Georgia runs off to prove to her family that science is important. When she returns, will they accept her? Will they like her experiment? Georgia's family are all artists, but Georgia is more science-minded herself. The flap copy asks, "Is it possible for science and art to really mix?" In a word, yes, and I don't think kids see the two as separate until adults tell them they are.

This book is so great for first and second graders because at that age they can enjoy all the amazing illustrations and not be distracted by them. It is a great way to introduce differences and similarities of subjects.
