Marcus, Kathryn and Gwendolyn stay with us to the end. If you've read the other books in this series of Garden of Allah novels you'll know that Marcus, Kathryn and Gwendolyn all met in book 1 around the late 1920's in Hollywood.
We've followed their stories of trying to make it in Hollywood and what great stories they have been.
In this final book we find Marcus back at the Garden of Allah trying to make his way back into Hollywood after being blacklisted. His plans of writing screenplays reach a stumbling block or writer's block. He finds an abandoned box in the basement while looking for Christmas lights but does he dare "tweak" what he finds calling it his own?
Kathryn is still working as a gossip columnist when she hears about a mysterious list circulating around, with a secret the could ruin lives and her "name" is on the list.
Gwendolyn has the chance to become the first woman to have her own daytime talk show.
We have our "friends" back together for one final book of movie stars, secrets, lies, scandals, parties and the glitter of the Golden Era of Hollywood.
I've enjoyed the entire series and this book brings closure to an amazing 9 books that continued to hold my interest from start to finish. ( )
