This was an entertaining sweet romance. Faye has issues dating back to her parents divorce and a mean girl prank back in high school that she blamed unfairly on her brother’s friend Austin. Now, she’s running her grandmother’s cafe. She has artwork due to be exhibited in the gallery next door. Things were looking good until her father comes back into town & wants to resolve their differences. Her brother & his friend Austin are moved by back to town & going into business together.

Austin is hoping to figure out what went wrong between Faye & him in high school. She’s been avoiding him anytime he comes home to visit. He just doesn’t realize how badly that incident hurt & damaged her. The chemistry is still there. Can he get her to change her mind about him?

I enjoyed Faye’s interactions with Austin & with her Uncle Jeremy. She finally realizes she has to resolve her past in order to move forward. The attraction between Faye & Austin was apparent from the beginning. I really enjoyed this story. ( )
