Another great thriller from Mr. Mefford! Seriously, this guy cannot write anything bad! Everything he writes packs a punch and leaves you gasping for breath. This time Alex gets hit hard and it will change her family forever. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time when you start this book because you will not want to put it down until you're finished and then you'll want to go back and start over.

I want to tell you how much I enjoyed this book but words fail me. The twists only add to the tension, and it's absolutely one wild ride. Alex has always had a thirst for justice, and I've never seen her back down before, but this time I have to wonder if she's met her match. This is an excellent story, and a book you won't want to pass up!

Mr. Mefford’s stories never disappoint, he creates nail-biting scenarios which keeps us guessing from the opening pages and does not let go till we reach the closing chapter. Following Alex and her team to the crime scenes and through the evidences you feel as you are part of the investigation along with them.

In a few words:

“A serial killer dubbed the Rose killer is on the loose. The killer leaves a rose at the crime scene. There are similarities to the murders occurring across the nation. Is it the actions of the same killer or is there a copycat? Alex needs to find the killer before he strikes again….meanwhile on the Homefront things are falling apart….”

Further thoughts:

Stirring, gripping, “At Every Turn” is an edge of your seat, fast-paced and well written drama very hard to put down and one that leaves something in the air for next time….of course all played out by a cast of well-defined characters. Two suspenseful threads: one an exciting investigation and the other a suspenseful family saga.

I join the readers in saying: this is a “didn’t see that coming” thriller. What a great addition to the series. Well-done. ( )

Mefford has done it again with a great mystery/thriller book that you don’t want to put down. I have enjoyed every book in his Redemption Thriller series and especially enjoy that he puts characters from other books into another one. In this book, I felt one I felt more moved by it because it went into a more of the personal side of Alex Troutt and her family. The last two books have brought danager to her children and it shows that Alex isn’t always super tough. She still has that mom part in her and in this book even her strong/rock solid boyfriend brings her pain. I can’t say enough about these books. You just have to read them!!! ( )
