This book starts how every baseball book should start, with Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth was an orphan, and did you know that he was the most popular kid at school and included the other not as popular kids by teaching the how to play baseball. Then it goes to Jackie Robinson, and how he was the first African American to play in the Major leagues. It talks about every well known baseball player. This book also talks about the teams, like the San Francisco Giants and how they couldn't find a place to move to because no one wanted to build a new stadium. Then finally they moved to Saint Petersburg. It also talks about the greatest hitters and pitchers of all time.
I liked this book because I like baseball and if you like baseball you should like this book to. This book is also a great learning book because it takes you through history one step at a time. It also has lots of detail when taking you through the book. Also it teaches you about all the great people in baseball and why they are so great. I liked this book because I am good at baseball and have been playing it for a long time. Sense you seem to like base ball you should read this book too. ( )
