This book would be a great asset for primary-aged listeners to learn about different types of poetry. This book is about different types of bugs that go to a school and each page has a poem using a variety of literary devices, such as alliteration and personification, to tell different silly stories about the bugs at school. This book is very engaging since the poems are pretty funny and it would be fantastic for teaching students about lots of different types of literacy devices since it has great examples that use simple language. ( ) I grew up in lower St. Bernard, surrounded by outdoors. I am no stranger to bugs. I thought this book was great because it shows school life, from the perspective of bugs. This would be a great writing model for children, as it is a topic that will most likely interest them, and expose them to the wonderfulness of poetry. I would happily add this book to my classroom library, as it is a great writing model, has great illustrations, and is very engaging. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Welcome to Crawly School for Bugs! Termites, stink bugs, gnats, and every insect in between attend this buzzy school where crickets take classes like how to be annoying in 4 easy steps. Some students struggle with the temptation to eat fellow classmates, while others deal with a mosquito nurse who always wants to draw blood, or attempt to make friends despite their own microscopic size.
