Another great story by Mr. Mefford! Ozzie teams up with Ivy to find a missing young woman. They seem to work well together and there is plenty of action, intrigue & humor. Don't know how Mefford comes up with these stories but they are awesome. And his characters are wonderful! Can't wait to read the next one!

Ozzie and Ivy are an absolute delight to watch working together. Ivy's knack for finding those in dire need of help, and her snarky attitude are just what Ozzy needs to distract himself from his marital troubles, and into new ones, that force him to dive deeper into his past. Sometimes looking forward just won't give you the answers you need, and you have to dive deep into history and follow the threads to uncover the truth in the present.

I might sound like a broken record but once again John W. Mefford blew me away with another great book in the Ozzie Novak series. Sometimes I wonder how he can get outdo himself with these awesome stories. They hook you from the very beginning to the very end and you can’t wait for the next book in the series. I loved how he brought different characters from other series into the book. You can read this as a standalone but I highly recommend starting from the beginning of the series.

This book Shame on You was actioned backed with a lot of twists and turns.. I loved how all the characters are developed. Sometimes I wonder how the main character, Ozzie Novak, can get beaten up so many times and he’s still able to be a PI. In this book you get to know even more about Ozzie’s daughter, MacKenzie and their growing relationship. The main storyline is about drugs, missing girls and poor Ozzie always getting beaten up. The interaction between Ozzie and his PI friend, Ivy, is great. A lot of good laughs how they work off of each other.

I am a fan forever of John W. Mefford and can’t wait to read more in this series. ( )
