Georgie Tanner is running a historical tour company as part of the B&B job she has with an old friend, Cecelia. When a member of the tour is murdered during a visit to a local haunted manor associated with the Revolutionary War, Georgie uses her detecting skills to figure out who did it.
This is an enjoyable and quick read. This is the first book in the series, so the reader is introduced to a cast of characters I assume we'll meet again in the next books: 'Aunt' Cecelia, her grandson Frank, and the cranky old neighbor Oscar. There are some hooks about Georgie's past that hopefully will be explained in future books.
I admit I never really figured out who on the list of suspects was the murderer though I suspected. Since this is the first book, there's a lot of explanation, mostly necessary, to introduce the area and characters. I did feel the ending was a bit rushed though it was satisfactory. I think anyone who likes cozy mysteries will enjoy this series. ( )
