But when Groundhog sees his shadow and dives back into the ground, there's no way he's coming to Moose's party on February 14. Moose and the other animals (Bunny, Porcupine, and Squirrel) realize that Groundhog is afraid of shadows, and work to show him all the ways that shadows are wonderful and fun: shadow puppets, silhouettes, dancing shadows and could shadows. The friends lure Groundhog out, and they all have a wonderful time. When Groundhog reemerges, ready for St. Patrick's Day, Bunny is hard at work painting eggs for Easter.
