Miss Jesmond's Heir was a good read and kept me interested. Has more grit than the typical regency. I would have appreciated an epilogue though. ( )

Jess Fitzroy is inspecting the land bequeathed to him by his aunt Miss Jesmond. He comes across a youth and two children playing cricket on his lands and when he reprimands them he discovers that the youth is actually the widow Mrs Georgiana Herron. After some initial misunderstandings they find themselves quite attracted to each other, but can they trust each other with their secrets?

It's pretty typical of it's type but I was quite entertained by the characters. ( )
