Take a little bit of Spidey and a touch of Deadpool, take away the Y chromosomes, blend it all together and what do you get? Peter Parker and Wade Wilson's worst nightmare -the murderous, mixed-up miss named Itsy Bitsy! The "daughter" of our two heroes is stronger than them, faster than them and has seriously creepy daddy issues - but what crazed mind could have conceived of her in the first place? As the body count begins to rise, somehow Spider-Man and Deadpool must work together to take down Itsy-Bitsy -and the person who has been pulling their strings from the start! But how is a trip to Weirdworld going to help wash that spider out? It's the most disturbing Spidey/Deadpool story yet! Collects Spider-Man/Deadpool #9-10, 13-14, and 17-18.… (altro)

2.5 rating, it had potential.

This was an okay read. I did like some scenes between Spider-man and Deadpool as Deadpool tried to stop Spider-man from doing something that will haunt him forever. I didn't care for the villain and the way she talked.

This isn't the Spider-man your used to and it looks like some villain is messing with his mind or soul. I did like Deadpool in this and he's the saving grace in this volume.

This story I felt like they were telling was supposed to be about the fight for Spider-man's soul but it came off odd, especially with the weird dialogue. It had potential but some choices that the writer made didn't work out for me.

I'll give volume 4 a try, but if the writing isn't better, I might have to drop this series, which is a shame because I like Deadpool and Spider-man. ( )

Unlike volume 1 (which had a single story, but put comedy over plot) and volume 2 (which was an assembly of various smaller filler-stories), this is a return to the single-story structure, this time focusing on plot over comedy (though considering the title characters, there is of course quite a lot of zany nonsense going on even so). I found I (unusual for me) enjoyed the fun-centred first volume rather more, but this isn't at all bad, and has some very nice and even touching character moments. I have one big complaint, though: While it is easy enough to follow the plot without any outside knowledge, this is unfortunately one of those comics where the writer is stuck puzzle-piecing the story into the continuity going on in other books, meaning you (if you're anything like me) will be scratching your head a bit at some of the goings on. I can take Deadpool's returned face in stride, but Spider-Man's unusually dark and aggressive behaviour from the get-go feels out of character even before Deadpool starts calling him on it. This forms the central spine of the story (and works well enough for that), but aside from one oblique reference to something having happened to Peter Parker in some other story, we don't get any explanation for why this happened. Since it's a fairly big departure from the character's established personality, and since fighting this change in him is the main plot of the book, this could really have used some kind of recap.

But as I said, you can follow fine without any prior knowledge (I did), and as far as the two characters' influence on each other goes, this was a relatively fresh and interesting take. With plenty of the signature ridiculous (but fun) nonsense to boot. ( )

UGH! Officially my least favorite release!! How can you mess up Deadpool?!?!?! This "volume" is missing 11, 12, 15, and 16. I don't know if those issues were by guest writers (featured in volume 2) or what. This storyline is also a bit confusing? Why is Deadpool's face beautiful again? When did Spiderman get so angsty and ANGRY? I don't know. Too many questions. This volume has the dynamic duo trying to stop this spider girl from killing too many people and Spiderman is determined to KILL HER rather than stop her and it's tearing him apart and Deadpool has to save the day. Some witty banter but that is about it! ( )
