You really did a number on Evie and did not impress this reader with your player ways. But I was curious and decided to give you a chance to redeem yourself. Boy did you.Troy and Joss’s romance is a bit different than others I’ve read. Joss is older than Troy and a widowed mother of a teenage son. Older guys seems to be the norm in romance so I was kind of excited to see it switched up this time. Joss meets Troy on a dark road during a comical scene involving a flat tire and loads of chemistry. After that chance meeting they just can’t seem to stay away from each other with random events bringing them together again and again. The chemistry between Troy and Joss is chart topping. I loved the slow build up of the romance. I enjoyed Joss’s reluctance and Troy’s attempts to win her over. It was nice to see that he wasn’t as big of an ass as we are lead to believe. His interactions with Joss’s son really sealed the deal for me and moved Troy from the sleaze to nice guy category. I’m so glad I didn’t skip this one because I really enjoyed it! It just might be my favorite in this entertaining series Oh Troy. After the incident in Tanner’s book I wasn’t sure how I was going to find it in my heart to like you. Troy (American Extreme Bull Riders Tour) by Amy AndrewsThis was a quick, enjoyable read. Troy is an Aussie bull-rider working his was back up to the big-league circuit in the US when he meets Joss. She has her hands full with a demanding job, outrageous debt, and a teenage son lashing out at the world that took his father from him. Misfortune brings them together time and again until they simply can't resist each other. I found the characters to be likable, and while bull-riding isn't a common job, I found the situations to be mostly believable as well. Joss and Troy are a great couple and I enjoyed reading their story. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Cocky, young Aussie bull rider Troy Jensen has been busted down to the pro-circuit. He needs wins and points to get him back into the big league and a shot at being crowned champ but an injury forces him off the circuit and into the arms of the woman fate keeps putting in his path. The first time local Doc Joss Garrity meets Troy, she's brandishing a lug wrench. The second time, he's dragging her delinquent teen son home. The third time, he's in her ER. How he ends up convalescing at her house she's not quite sure. But it does make it hard to ignore him and their simmering attraction. As Troy gets to know Joss, he starts to see a life after bull riding for the first time. But can Joss risk her heart on another man who may not come home one day? Amy Andrews is skilled at coaxing her readers to read between the lines. Her characters are well versed in the art of seduction. Their mouth says no, when the heart is most definitely screaming "Yes!" At first meeting Troy and Joss are laying down some ground rules. I see you is the message that is conveyed loud and clear. The second meeting goes a step toward the "You drive me crazy" category. By the third time, all bets are off. When the heart becomes involved the stakes are high and the heat is on. Troy is a story of second chances in life, in love and at happiness. Hello, proves the most powerful introduction becomes the goodbye will leave a lasting impression. ( )
