The highly anticipated sequel to the bestselling Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes. It's been a year since the horrific events at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and Charlie is just trying to move on. Even with the excitement of a new school and a fresh start, she's still haunted by nightmares of a masked murderer and four gruesome animatronic puppets. Charlie thinks her ordeal is over, but when a series of bodies are discovered near her school-bearing wounds that are disturbingly familiar-she finds herself drawn back into the world of her father's frightening creations. Something twisted is hunting Charlie, and this time if it finds her, it's not letting her go.… (altro)

Ah, another day of FNAF lore is another casual day for me. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that I'd read this book (I'm overly obsessed with FNAF theories. Too obsessed...in all honesty). While it took me a while to get to it, the book was definitely worth the wait.

The Twisted Ones is the second book in the FNAF book series. The lore is different from the video games (same animatronics, different back story, but some similar names of characters...) but you could easily try to eave it into the video games if you tried (or if you trust Scott and his sneaky ways).

While this appears to be a YA novel, some of the gore is definitely closer to R rated. If you're a fan of FNAF, it probably wouldn't come as big of a surprise to know some of the gore is REALLY GORY, but keep that in mind if you choose to read it.

Plot wise, the story continued with a smooth transition. There is a time jump between the first and second book, but it worked in it's favour. Slowly plot details are revealed and old characters appear, and eventually Scott and Kira build and add to this spectacular take on the lore. I really did enjoy it - more animatronics, more craziness!

The book is relatively fast paced - I didn't get bored once. I really hope the next book is the last book in this series to finish it up. This book was the perfect sequel, so I'd like to see an explosive ending (by the way, MAJOR CLIFFHANGER ALERT).

Now, time for some lore discussion - this book will raise questions. Don't try to tie it to the book, and you'll be feeling mighty fine! If you start trying to make a wild, crazy theory you'll get fed up and quit. This book is supposed to be fun and increase circulation of this series (from my perspective) and it is increasing the fan base. Look at how many people are frustrated with the fact that this book doesn't fit in with the FNAF video games and are talking about it constantly... It's a lot of people. More conversations, more circulation, more participation, more people reading... It's marketing genius. Is this book kinda silly? Yes. Were half of my questions answered in regard to lore for this book series? No. But it's fun! I think this is a fun read that didn't require my brain to explode to understand it.

Side note: Can we get a FNAF graphic novel or something? This book would be EPIC in picture form...just saying.

Four out of five stars. ( )

Five Nights At Freddy’s: The twister one’s is the sequel to Five Nights At Freddy’s: The silver eyes, it takes place a year after the first book and Charlie and Jessica are both in college. Charlie is still traumatized by what happened at the pizzeria and gets very worried when the murders start happening again. Charlie is scared that William is alive and hunting Charlie.

I love this book because it is very intense and there is a twist at every corner. I rate this book a 8/10 and I recommend this book to 13+ ( )

I am an adult, with teenage children. I am fascinated by Five Nights at Freddy's. I love the concept. So I really wanted to read this.

The plot was ok. You just have to suspend your belief and go along with it. As a horror story, it is pretty formulaic. I did feel that the deaths described were pretty gruesome and wondered if they would be too much for younger teens. It also seemed that there were things introduced that were never developed. For example, the two heads that Charlie was working on. Are they developing consciousness? Will they play a part in future stories? Who knows.

I also wasn't too fond of the ending. Too ambiguous. But there is always room for a sequel. ( )

The book starts out with Charlie in a new school robotics class, the teacher (Dr. Treadwell) is teaching about photographic memory (that's what it sounds like to me at least) as we get introduced to a new character, Arty. The first chapter explains why she goes to the new school and what happened with her Aunt. Charlie and her Aunt got into a fight when Charlie said she was going to the same school Jessica was going to back in Hurricane, where her fathers restaurant was, and her Aunt didn't want her back there. After there class is finished she goes back to her dorm having an hour till her meeting(date sorta) with John, she has two robots that she is currently building right now they can't see and she is trying to figure out what there trying to say. later she gets a call from Clay (Carlton's police dad from last book) of a guy in the middle of a field, dead and had looked like he was spring locked in a suit then just dumped there. In the last book Charlie managed to Spring locked Dave killing him, Clay told Charlie that when they tested the blood it was Fake. After she got back to the dorm Jessica wanted to help her find an outfit at the mall for her (date) with John and she ended up driving her the Freddy's.Charlie wanted to find Dave's body to make sure that he was dead. They searched till they found a small compartment and opened it to find Dave in the rabbit suit inside, he was dead so they drove back to the dorm. after her (date) with John she just so happened to come across another body with the same spring lock cuts so she call's Clay. When Clay comes he finds her address and gives Charlie twenty minutes to find out anything. when she get's to the house she finds three hole in the back yard, then the police come just as she drives away. In the book she wants to go to her old house to see if anything changed there beside the fact of a storm happening destroying some walls of the house. when her and John get there they starts investigating and find a broken wall in the garage. In the hole (which is right below her old room) there are three holes and something still buried. They find a tiny disc in the buried animatronic which can make John feel sick and makes the animatronic seem more alive then it really was. They decide to put a map together to see if they can find out where the next place there going to hit and they come to a small hotel thing where they find three spots of dirt where they find the animatronics unactivated. Clay comes and clears to area with a little scare ( gas leak) to get the people out of there. when the area was clear they went back to the car and wait for the animatronics to get out. night comes they here a scream and Clay realizes that not everyone left Charlie jumps out and goes after where the scream was to find a wolf looking animatronic. when Clay and the others come the wolf animatronic disasters leaving the victim still alive but hurt. Charlie is convinced that the animatronics are after her so she decides to go wait at her old house and not going to her (date) with John so since she's late he calls Clay. Clay and John had an Idea of where she went but they were to late the animatronic already took her. They need the old animatronics to help find her now and it turns out that Clay didn't let them get thrown away he kept them in his basement so they go and talk to them. Charlie is trying to figure a way out of the animatronic she is in only to realize she is getting buried along with the animatronic marking that it is turning day and she makes a last minute escape to find herself in a cave with a Ballon Boy (very annoying kid) and Dave who is now known as SPRING TRAP. The animatronics lead John Jessica and Clay to the cave Charlie is in finds her and then tries to escape the cave but Charlie finds her self in a sort of maze with SPRING TRAP, they have a little chat, and she get out of there back with John they find a way to escape the run into one of the animatronics that are under SPRING TRAP's control and grabs her. Jessica and John try to help her get out resulting in her death, she got spring locked. The book end with John,Jessica, and Marla (also Arty) in a diner thinking of Charlies death then see a person that can be mistaken as Charlie out the window.

In all, the book was just as Amazing as the first one but I found a little less descriptive so I couldn't really imagine the setting as well. The places where is didn't really get was the where the cave was and where Charlie was caught by the (nightmare?) Freddy. I understood that she got separated from the group in the cave and she was behind the water fall but I couldn't visualize it to well. The book, in my opinion, was a little less exiting then the last book but I think that is because of the lack of description, and the book was shorter then the last. It opened some explanations for the game, like the tiny black disc but it opened a few more mysteries for the game like, was SPRING TRAP spring locked twice. I couldn't really figure out where the cave was at all I know that BB (Ballon boy) and his other friends were there but I don't know a FNaF setting where a water fall is included I'll relook. I like how this is sorta turned in to a two-parter because we don't know who the girl in the window is at the end. I LOVED IT! ( )
