Summary: This book goes through the famous and legendary bandits, outlaws and other infamous people of in the history of the world, from ancient china to the present day bandits. This book goes into detail to tell the reader that the glorified bandits of legend such as Robbin Hood are not what bandits were really like, and rarely were they the good guys.
Review: this book goes into detail of manny bandits through time, whether specific bandits and bandit gangs where history is concerned, or the legends of famous bandits, and it does a good job of describing them meeting several tags depending on where you look. This book is able to be factual and at the same time entertaining linking the stories od the past such as the one of Ali Baba to the stories closer to the present such as Aladdin.

This was a cute book about the life of real bandits and fictional bandits. I think students would really like to read this because the term bandit fills people with romantic ideas like stealing from the rich for the poor. This book would be a great addition to many social studies/history units as it gives so much information about so many “bandits” from the past. I would definitely like to use this book in a future classroom. ( )
