When you need a break from life and want to try a new author. Surprisingly enjoyable Lilia Moon is a new author to me but I enjoyed Damon and Emily so I will be reading more. I loved Damon and Emily. Emily just had me in chapter one. She was confident in who she was and knew exactly what was missing. She was just vulnerable enough to allow Damon to be able to read her immediately. Damon was such a Dom! He was very alpha and sexy yet you could tell that Emily was going to be a testing puzzle for him. I thought the sex scenes were beautifully erotic. I felt like it was just enough to hook you and want more. The story had everything you could ask for in a great read...romance, laughter, a little edge of your seat sadness and some very hot sex. Give this one a try. It’s so worth your time. ( )

Interesting start to this series. I wasn't expecting this first book in the series to become a gateway to BDSM. However, the BDSM was very well done. I just wanted it to not be an insta-love (two week) relationship. I also wanted more from the ending by way of in the future. ( )
