First off, I love this cover! MARRYING THE WRONG EARL is the story of Lady Arabella Danvers and Nash, Earl of Clarendon. It's book #2 in the Lords and Ladies in Love series. I read it as a standalone even though I have the first book, I've not gotten to read it yet. That oversight will be rectified very soon. I had no problems following the story.
MARRYING THE WRONG EARL is my first Callie Hutton novel I really enjoyed it. It kept me engaged because I didn't know what's going to go wrong next. Even though I'm a pet lover myself, I felt that Arabella put her pets before her marriage too many times. BUT I also thought Nash could've given in a little more. Ultimately, it's an enjoyable tale of compromise.

This is the second book in the Lords and Ladies in Love series and I will admit to not reading book 1, which I know to some people, is scandalous, but to me, it's not an issue, as I found that this book can be easily read as a standalone, which is exactly what I did.

I have read Callie Hutton's books in the past, and I have always enjoyed her books! There a refreshing take on the Historical Romance world, and I don't think I have read any books quite like hers. The authors writing is magical and the plots are addictive, even though I have found myself yelling at the books like they could actually hear me *blushes*

When it comes to the characters though, I have to say that I haven't found a character as fun as sweet Arabella, in a long time. I will admit to Nash annoying me though! As he fell in love (though he doesn't admit it) with Arabella knowing her love (borderline obsession) of animals, but then tries to change her!! But on the other hand, you can help but like him, even if he is an idiot.

I really could go on and on about the storyline and the writing and retell the story under my own interpretation, for hours, but instead I'm going to recommend that you buy this delicious book and savor it for yourself, by giving it 5 stars!!
