The humor is great and I love how the characters come together and open up right away and. Whitney and Cole are great together and show that even when you make a mistake you can grow. ( ) 4.5 stars I fell in love with these three amazing friends. There were laugh out loud antics and the banter between all of the ladies was hilarious. Especially Lennon. I want to be best friends with all of them. I loved the connection between Whitney and Cole. I could understand how Whit felt in regards to Cole and his earlier actions. I, also, could truly empathize with Cole because I could definitely see how hard he was trying to make up for the stupid mistakes of his past. I have always loved this author duo but this book/series makes me love them even more. I read this as part of the Modern Love Boxset. This was a fun story of two people who should have met years before but are pulled together now through circumstances. Although, they shouldn't, they hook up and have to work through threir relationship with each other and with their friends and family. The book was fast paced, the characters were interesting and I would read more in this series. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

From a secret duo of USA Today Bestselling Authors, comes an ENEMIES-TO-LOVERS SEXY ROMCOM STANDALONE in the Modern Love Series. Who knew sleeping with the enemy could be this fun? Was the one night stand a good idea? Well, no. Probably not in retrospect. In my defense I had just moved back into my grandparent's house, I'd lost my dream job, and a guy on Tinder had stood me up. It was like life had suddenly stamped 'LOSER' on my forehead. So when the guy behind the bar started giving me THE look...you know, the one that promised I'd be screaming his name into the wee hours of the morning? When that guy also has the perfect amount of scruff on his chiseled chin, biceps bulging out of his t-shirt, and a cocky grin you knew he'd earned in the sack...when he gives you that look, you don't bother to figure out what your six degrees of separation are. You jump on that horse and ride it! Pun fully and completely intended. And accurate by the way. I fully admit to feeling sorry for myself and acting impulsively, but by the time I'd figured out WHO the bartender was, I was already falling for him. ** Note: This book was previous titled "The Bartender". Same great story with a fresh new look.**. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
