MontzaleeW | Jul 27, 2020 |   The novel tied up enough issues so the reader felt satisfied, but left enough open to want to read the next in the series. Which probably won't be available for a while ARGHHHHH. Can't wait :) One minor error in the book, which I let the author know about, and she very kindly responded to my message. Bonus points for Elicia!! I won't even mind reading the first two in the series again to refresh my memory when #3 comes out. Read Soul Summoner first to get the full back story. In this book, Sloan and Warren find out more about themselves and their abilities while working with Nathan to find missing Rachel Smith. Thriller, sci-fi and a bit of romance. Definitely more supernatural than the first book plus the triangle remains strong. Fast moving, great character development and some funny moments with Sloan. All the missing victims of North Carolina's deadliest serial killer have been found, all except Rachel Smith. Just to be clear: the plot of this story is wrapped up by the end of the book. However, a bit of information is revealed at the end so the listener knows another book is coming.
