A sweet first volume that, while nothing of a stand out, is very intriguing and has a kind of quiet charm to it. The dynamic between Yuu and Nanami is unlike any other I’ve read in a manga, and although it’s slightly insta-love-y I feel like the characters still have charisma together so it works. The whole story has just a soft, introspective feeling with a high school setting, so if that’s your thing this might be a good series for you! ( )

I've seen the anime and now I have one volume read. The relationship seems a bit one sided but the dialogue isn't cringe. I can't wait to read the rest of the series to see this relationship grow. ( )

Sweet and Wholesome

Yuu reads a lot of Shōjo manga but has never had feelings for a boy the way the books, and her friends, describe. When an older (female) student confesses feelings for her she says she is unable to reciprocate but the two become close working together on the student council and Yuu decides she is prepared to accept love from a friend who doesn't expect it in return.

Japanese student life is familiar from countless anime and manga series. The art is attractive with characters less difficult to distinguish than some series featuring large numbers of teenagers wearing identical clothes. All the feels (and inner turmoil over the lack of them) feel real, and I'm looking forward to continuing with this series. ( )

Cute wlw story. Slow burn, very sweet. Slice of Japanese HS life with a little girl love thrown in. Potential ace rep? ( )

This is a low-key but charming story of a junior high school relationship wherein Nanami, a lesbian, becomes fixated on Yuu, an asexual classmate who always assumed her life would eventually follow a heteronormative course. I sorta hope it is more a story of friendship than romance. ( )
