This is a retelling of the Legend of Arthur: Sword in the Stone adding a Talking Dog that is capable of Magick!

It was funny, light & entertaining. The story was so compelling that I stayed up all night to read it!

I am a strong proponent that children's books are not just for children. If the story is well written or in the case an audio version also well performed, it truly can be enjoyed by "kids of all ages". 🙋 The Wizard's Dog is definitely falls into this category!

This delightful tale had me smiling, chuckling and at times riveted to the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. I was very impressed that this novel had quite a bit of Merlin/Arthurian lore weaved into this tale as well as humor, action, suspense and so much more. And who can resist Nosewise? I sure couldn't!

I had so much fun listening to this as an Audible audio-book. The narrator, Grahm Halstead did a superb job. I couldn't have asked for a better listening experience. Having shared that I still hope to soon pick up a copy of the book so I can enjoy the illustrations as well.

The Wizard's Dog is a fantastic story and one that children, families and kids of all ages will thoroughly enjoy.
